Daily Doodles 

     This is one of my favorite ink and watercolor drawings from 2014. At the time I was challenging myself to work on and post a "Daily Doodle" to my blog once a day. There was a lot of wonderful work I made in this period and I'm sure I'll post more to this blog one day. 

    Most of these works were very stream-of-consciousness and geometric in design. In this particular drawing you have just a single man surrounded by a confounding backdrop of shape and patterns, holding onto a intangible thought. The stark black and white with the color of the background frames him and holds the thought away from the rest of the world.

    I have returned to this place in many of my drawings and paintings. One day I want to further explore this world and it's inhabitants in a Animation...
